D2 Visa

Also known as the Immigrant Entrepreneur Visa for Portugal. Requirements:
  • No minimum account.
  • Investment at least 5,000 Euro.
  • No minimum amount for the capital.
  • Opening a bank account 5,000 Euro.
  • Business Plan.

D7 Visa

The D7 visa is a Residence Visa for retirees or income holders who want to live in Portugal.

One of the necessary requirements is to proof that the applicant has the minimum income provided for by law that allows him to be resident in Portugal for a period of not less than 12 months.

The procedure consists of two stages: the first with the Consulate or Embassy of Portugal of the country where the applicant resides and the second with the Foreigners and Borders Services (SEF) in Portugal.

D7 Visa allows the holder to obtain a residence permit in Portugal for a period of 2 years that can then be renewed for a period of 3 years and, after 5 years, the applicant may acquire the permanent residence permit or Portuguese nationality. The minimum length of stay in Portugal is 6 consecutive months or 8 months interspersed.

Student Visa

The Student Visa is an option for foreign citizens who wish to study in Portugal.

Golden Visa

The Golden Visa program allows citizens from outside the European Union to invest in Portugal and consequently obtaining a temporary residence permit. This program grants the Visa holder and close relatives, in equal terms, the right to live and work in Portugal, benefit from free circulation within the Schengen Area (of 26 European countries) and, later on, if the applicant wishes, apply for a permanent residence permit or even the Portuguese citizenship. Requirments:
  • Investment in Real State 350,000 Euro.
  • Transferring 1,000,000 Euro.
